Bus connections between the Weihenstephan and Garching campuses
The express bus X660 connects the two university locations Freising and Garching. It takes about 30 minutes from Weihenstephaner Berg in Freising to the Garching Research Centre with only a few stops in between. From Monday to Friday, it runs from 5.25 a.m. to 10 p.m. at 40-minute intervals.
The starting point of the line is Weihenstephaner Berg. Via the Freising stops Weihenstephan, Weihenstephaner Straße, Freising railway station and Schlüterstraße, the route then reaches Garching with only three stops in Dietersheim, Mintraching and Achering. The end point of the line is the Garching Research Centre.
Due to the new express connection of the MVV, the previous shuttle bus will only be used for a few events.
