International Day Weihenstephan

This event is all about celebrating cultures, international experiences, and bringing the world to our campus. Students from our School will host interactive booths showcasing traditions, languages, and customs from their home countries. It's a day full of fun, food, music, and networking, inspiring everyone to explore cultural exchange and opportunities abroad.

How can you contribute?

International Day Weihenstephan is an event by students for students, and its success relies on your participation! You can represent your home country by, for example:

• Prepare and share traditional food
• Showcase music, traditional clothing, writing, dances, instruments, or art
• Present customs, share history or tell fairy tales
• You can join an existing booth to make it even livelier or start a new one for your country
• Much more– your imagination is the limit!
• Of course we support you during preparation!

Your Team International Day 2025

Have you been on an international exchange semester or internship lately?

Then you have certainly had an unforgettable adventure abroad - you have got to know a new culture, gained valuable experience and probably have lots of stories to tell. Why not share your valuable experiences with others, let them participate and exchange ideas with them?

And best of all, your poster could also win you a prize.

What you can expect

• Design a creative poster about your experience abroad
• Strike up a conversation with the people who pass by your poster
• Share your experiences abroad with other students
• Pass on your experiences and adventures, inspire others to spend time abroad and learn something new yourself.
• Take part in the poster competition automatically and win attractive prizes
• All of this in a relaxed atmosphere, without right or wrong - but with a lot of shared enthusiasm for the international!

Prizes for the best posters:

1. Place: 100€ voucher from Buch7.de
2. Place: Hoodie from the TUM store
3. 1st place: T-shirt from the TUM store

What could be on your poster, for example? (just a few ideas - there are no limits to your creativity!)

• Your host country & your university/work
• Tips for your "successors"
• Highlights, funny anecdotes & experiences
• Challenges & how you overcame them
• Things that have inspired, motivated and enriched you

Voting by our visitors:

The visitors award sticker points and the count is taken at the end. Criteria:

• Motivation and inspiration
• Creativity and design
• Content and relevance

We will cover the printing costs. If you wish, you can present your poster in person at the event and answer questions about it.
