This is a 6.5 km route that touches on some of the many charms of our beautiful campus and covers more or less the entire area. The route starts at the Veitshof, runs along the Moosach to the mill in Vötting, on the southern slope with two slight inclines back to the Veitshof kindergarten. From there, take a sharp left up the hill (“Schlangenweg”), past the beehive and the Korbinian Chapel. You reach the barrier at the Weihenstephan entrance and walk past the experimental brewery and distillery down the Weihenstephaner Steig to the Kindervilla, turn off there and approach the library. Pass the Maximus-von-Imhof-Forum to the “Aquarium” and turn left past the Nutritional Sciences and Plant Sciences buildings to the Forest Sciences. Back along the Thalhauser Graben to the street “Am Staudengarten”, the path leads across the HSWT forecourt via Vöttinger Straße, up the slope via Pappelallee through the Löwentor into the Hofgarten to the destination.
