Soils play an important role in the long-term storage of CO2 and thus contribute to reducing CO2 in the atmosphere.
Founded in 1964, the NAE's mission is to provide independent, objective analysis and advice to the nation, offering leadership and insights for a complex world. The current election brings the number of members in the USA to 2,487 and the number of international members to 336.
