The contribution of agriculture and the land use sector to climate action plan 2050.
The basis for this event will be the study "Climate Paths for Germany 2050", that was commissioned by BDI, The Voice of German Industry, and conducted by the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) and Prognos. It contains a deep economic and technical analysis to achieve the Climate Plan of Action 2050 of the German government, in order to reduce the greenhouse gases by 80 % or 95 % from the 1990 levels.
In this discussion, we will focus on strategies to achieve these goals in the agricultural and land use sectors with the expertise of WZW leading researchers and external experts in these areas.
In the poster, you can find a list of all the internal and external speakers attending the event.
The event starts with a brief reception with coffee & cakes, followed by presentations and the panel discussion. It ends with a get-together from 6-7 pm.
In cooperation with the WZW Botany Chair, the Hans Eisenmann-Zentrum (HEZ), Graduate Center Wiehenstephan (GZW), Biolloquium (Faculty of Life Sciences), and SRMtalks.
